Overview

The iPhone 7 has a Retina HD display with a 4.7" (diagonal) widescreen LCD. Its resolution sets at 1334 x 750 pixels Multi-Touch display with IPS technology.

iPhone 7 features a rear camera of 12-megapixel and 7-megapixel at the front. It supports digital zoom up to 5x with optical image stabilization, body and face detection, auto HDR for photos, auto image stabilization and photo geotagging.

The phone is rated IP67 water and dust resistant, although the warranty does not cover any water damage to the phone. A fingerprint sensor, built into the Home button is also available alongside other sensors including accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and others.

The 3.5mm headphone jack was replaced by a second speaker grille that serves as a vent for the internal barometer.

iPhone 7 runs on an Apple A10 Fusion 64-bit system-on-chip and an OS of iOS 10 pre-installed, which later received an upgrade to iOS 11. The iPhone 7 battery lasts up to 2 hours longer than iPhone 6S with talk time up to 14 hours on 3G.
